Expansion Tanks (ALL TANK)

Kofulso thermal expansion tanks are specifically designed to manage water pressure caused by the thermal expansion of water as it heats up in a water heater. This pressure can damage valves in plumbing fixtures, joints in supply pipes, and even the water heater itself. Local codes require a thermal expansion tank when the water heater is part of a closed system. A system is considered closed if a check valve is installed in the incoming water supply, preventing the expanded heated water from flowing back to the water main.
